Viewing & Downloading Documents
The Toddington Parish Council website contains many documents such as meeting minutes, reports, forms and other useful information.

The documents tend to be one of three types of file:

Viewing Documents
You can view these documents on your computer if you have the appropriate software loaded.

You need to run the free Adobe Acrobat reader software to read the many Acrobat PDF documents that are available on this website. Adobe have versions available for Windows and Apple Mac PCs.
Click on the link below to download the latest version of Acrobat Reader Software for your PC.
Many Microsoft Word files are published on this site eg Agendas, Minutes etc. To view or print these you need Microsoft Word on your PC or a program that can read Word files.
Using a free download (see below) from Microsoft, you can view and print Word documents, even if you don't have Word installed.
If you Have Excel 2000, XP, 2003 or later on your PC you should be able to view the Excel spreadsheets without installing any other software.
With the Microsoft free download (see below) you can open, view, and print Excel workbooks, even if you don't have Excel installed.

Downloading Documents
You can download copies of the Toddington Parish Council documents onto your PC.

You can use your browser software (e.g. Internet Explorer) to do this. The method used to do this depends on the browser software that you are using. The example below uses Internet Explorer version 6.
1. Right Click on Document Link

There are many links to documents on the website, e.g. in news and other articles. See example of document link below.

Right-click on the link of the document you want to download. Your browser should then display link options (See 2).
Click on 'Save Target As' option2. Select 'Save Target As' Option

Click on the 'Save Target As' option that appears in the pop-up window.
Select PC Folder 3. Select folder on your PC

A 'Save As' window will appear.

This enables you to decide where you want to store the document on your PC.

You can use the existing document name or another file name of your choice.
